The contradictions of the ocean…

Its intimidating thunderous rumble is daunting and threatening and frightening

Its intimidating thunderous rumble is peaceful and calming and beautiful

It is a force to be reckoned with

It is tranquil and soothingly hypnotic

It is OH SO powerful and demanding

It is overwhelmingly gorgeous

It WILL be respected and it does not understand mercy

It is pure – it contains and maintains life

It is seductive

It is gracefully massive

It is all of this all at once

It is captivating
