Two friends named CoCo and Martha traveled to Disneyland with their husbands and children. The trip just so happened to be at the same time as a horrible storm. Yes, in Southern California! Now that is what you call bad timing and bad luck.
The two husbands, Jamie and Joey, both wore too-small Disney panchos. They were the only ones they could find, as Disneyland hadn’t expected a storm and only had limited pancho options.
The others in the group that were able to find rides to get on that happened to still be open, got their faces pelted horribly by the rain. The park was damn near empty because of the storm but CoCo, Martha, Jamie, Joey and the kids tried to stick it out. They walked around empty Disneyland and saw that most everything was shut down and closed because of the storm but every so often they would see other families with strollers and what not, looking pissed off walking in the rain trying to stick it out too.
For every family they saw like that, they saw that the kids were crying and wet and the parents were upset and trying to get their money’s worth just like Martha, CoCo and the too-small pancho wearing husbands. Everyone was so determined, but the storm was more determined. They finally gave up and went home.
