The Accounts

Microfiction: Short-short stories that take an itsy bitsy amount of time to read. Each microfiction piece on this page is under 350 words (comparable to three minutes or less reading time).  

Some were humbled, some broke down, others stayed exactly the same, some excelled with the new access of resources, some were overwhelmed and blindly (or with diamonds in their eyes) ran amuck, some shied away and didn’t like the big to-do and flash of it all. Some were in their own world and continued on doing what they were doing. Some got it and reacted wisely. Some became delusional. Some wanted more…

Some were humbled, some broke down, others stayed exactly the same, some excelled even with the limited resources, some where overwhelmed and crawled into a hopeless hole, some became a product of their environment, some felt angry and ripped off, some reached for a life of grandiose fashion, Some reluctantly made do. Some were in their own world and continued on doing what they were doing. Some got it and weighed out how to react. Some became dreamers. Some wanted more…

What is this all about? The day everyone traded bank accounts, of course.
